The Brand
Started With A Battery That Died.
YUME began in 2018, after its founder was left pushing a cheap electric scooter home on a dead battery the year before. The fix was to stop buying parts and start building them: the company runs its own mould and hardware factory alongside a dedicated battery-pack plant, and packs its scooters with Samsung and LG cells rather than unbranded ones.
Four generations on, the range is certified to UL, CE and KC standards and has reached more than 65 countries and 500 cities. Australian orders ship from a Melbourne warehouse with Australian-based support behind them.
