Not the fast ones. A personal eRideable in WA has to be built to do no more than 25 km/h and weigh under 25 kg. The Raptor 2 is rated to 87 km/h and weighs 46 kg, so it sits outside that class no matter how slowly you ride it or which speed mode it is in, and it is not registerable as a road bike either. That makes the high-output YUME models private-land machines: closed circuits, private property and off-road riding with the owner's permission. Ask us before you buy and we will tell you straight which class a given model lands in.

Stand-up electric scooters, built around dual motors and large-capacity battery packs rather than light folding commuters. The current Australian range runs Swift, X11+, Raptor 2, Hawk, Raptor, Hawk Pro Wide and Predator, climbing in power and price across that order. YUME covers its scooters for 12 months from the day you receive the scooter, against manufacturing defects in the major components — motor, controller, display and frame. Collision damage, water damage, unauthorised modification, battery neglect, normal wear and cosmetic marks are excluded, and transit damage has to be reported within seven days of delivery. YUME stocks wear parts such as tyres and brake pads for the long term.

YUME ships Australia-wide from its Melbourne warehouse with delivery included in the price, so nothing is added at checkout. Eastern-states addresses are usually a couple of days; allow about a week to Perth. We will confirm the current lead time on the model you want before you order.

Yes. Our Dianella workshop works on electric scooters and electric mopeds. An electric drivetrain removes most routine servicing, but tyres, brakes, bearings and suspension are ordinary workshop jobs, and warranty claims go back through YUME with parts shipped out to us. Bring the scooter in or contact us with the model and the fault.

YUME runs its own battery-pack factory and builds packs around Samsung and LG cells. The Raptor 2 is a 60V pack in two grades: a 27Ah standard pack rated at about 100 km, or a 30Ah Samsung pack rated at about 107 km. Both charge through two ports at once and take roughly seven to eight hours from flat. Real range depends on rider weight, terrain and how hard you use the throttle.
