At ECU Joondalup, normal car parking is free outside weekday business hours. Between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, students need an ePermit, visitors need a paid parking session, and the campus car parks can be busy. There are three ways to park free: outside those hours, limited ECU Sport member bays, or in a designated motorcycle and scooter area.
The first free option depends on when you travel; the second is limited to ECU Sport and Fitness members. The designated areas are the all-day alternative for motorcycle and scooter users, but they are separate from ordinary car bays. Check the campus map and signs before parking.

ECU describes Joondalup car parking as limited and says the car parks and surrounding roads can be busy during semester. The parking fee is only one part of planning a campus trip.

- Car Park 1 is limited to two hours, with no return within four hours.

Student-housing residents can apply for a free Village permit, but must first hold a current ECU student parking permit.
