Parts Enquiry FAQs

Which brands can you get parts for?

We can source parts for most scooter and motorcycle brands sold in Australia, including Vespa, Piaggio, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Aprilia, Kymco, SYM and many others. Only our SYM catalogue is online with diagrams — for every other make, send the enquiry form and we will look it up for you.

How long until I hear back?

As soon as possible. We usually respond with 1-2 business days.

Do I need my VIN?

No, but it helps a lot. Many models changed parts partway through a production year, so a VIN is often the only way to be certain which part fits. If you cannot get to the bike, your make, model and year is enough for us to start.

Where do I find my VIN?

It is a 17-character number stamped on the frame, usually on the steering head under the front of the seat or behind a panel near the footwell. It is also printed on your registration papers and compliance plate. It never contains the letters I, O or Q.

What is an engine code and do I need it?

It is the number stamped into the engine case, and it is optional. It matters for engine internals, because the same model is sometimes sold with more than one engine, but for most parts the make, model and year is enough.

What if I do not know the name of the part I need?

Describe it as best you can, or tell us what the bike is doing and what you think has failed. We work these out every day. If you have a part number from another supplier or a manual, include that and we will cross-reference it.

Is an enquiry an order?

No. Sending an enquiry costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We will come back to you with availability and a price, and you decide from there.

Can I order SYM parts myself?

Yes. Our SYM catalogue is online with exploded diagrams, part numbers and live pricing, and you can order without contacting us. Use the SYM parts link on this page.
